An intimate wedding in Nantes and the Côte Sauvage

Noémie and Cyrille were due to get married in April, but obviously the wedding was postponed due to the confinement. So they chose July 4 to say yes. An intimate wedding at Nantes town hall and then on the wild coast, and it was incredible!

Beginning of the day

The day began at the salon Les Beaux Baumes for hair and make-up for the bride and her witnesses. As for the groom, he got ready at home, surrounded by his nearest and dearest. It was a day punctuated by laughter and chatter, in short, the kind of lively moments I love.

Once dressed, everyone headed for the center of Nantes. The bride and groom did a First Look in a street near the town hall, followed by a few couple and group photos. I'd scouted the location the day before, and the atmosphere was incredible. Despite the gusts of wind and the rain, we took some lovely, loving photos. We then waited to go into the town hall for the civil ceremony. A few indoor photos, and it was already time to go. I discovered Nantes town hall and loved taking photos inside, so beautiful was the interior. After a colorful ceremony exit, we headed for the Atlantic coast, to the Hôtel L'Hermitage.

The end of the day began with a small cocktail party in the suite with the dozen or so guests present. It was a choice on the part of the bride and groom, who wanted an intimate wedding in their own image. It was the first time I'd been in this very recognizable establishment on the beach at La Baule. It was a real pleasure to take couple photos there.

To round off the day, the bride and groom had reserved a table at a restaurant they love on the wild coast. After the aperitif, we headed out to do THE couple session, the one I'd been looking forward to so much because the location was so beautiful. Noémie and Cyrille, who had never posed before, were really at ease, dancing under the restaurant's spotlights, walking barefoot in the sand, climbing on the rocks... I had a wonderful time with my bride and groom, and I feel really lucky to have been able to photograph so many beautiful memories.

We chose Julia to accompany us on our wedding day. We were immediately enchanted by her world. From the very first contact, Julia was very professional and immediately understood our wishes. Before the big day, Julia had already scouted out the most beautiful locations around our wedding site for the photos. All we had to do was let her guide us on the day... Julia was subtly discreet, so that we and our guests didn't feel her presence. She was able to capture emotions we hadn't even imagined. The result is magnificent - the gallery is huge! The choice for the photo book we're going to make with Julia is going to be difficult, because they're all so full of joy, emotion and love...
